Water Reservoirs . . . Great For Camping
and Back Packing
Hiking and backpacking is just the best way to get “away from it all” and really experience nature as it was intended to be, as it should be, and as it still is in National Parks and other back country getaways. One thing which all back packers and hikers need to consider is how they are going to carry their water – we all need water, we’ve got to drink gallons of the stuff every day, especially when we’re using up all of our energy hiking trails, climbing mountains and meandering through valleys.
So what is a water reservoir when we’re talking about hiking (apart from a great place to hike with lots of bird life and fantastic scenery), not that sort of reservoir you jerk, we’re talkiing about hiking water reservoirs, water reservoirs which you actually carry in your back pack so that you have plenty of water to drink on your hike. That’s the type of hiking water reservoirs we’re talking about here.
What’s Good About Water Reservoirs
Water Reservoirs make up part of a hiking hydration system which means that hikers, walkers, back packers, cyclists, runners and other energetic outdoor types can sip their daily requirements of water without having to stop, take off their back pack, find their water bottle (hope it hasn’t leaked), open the top, take a swig, put it away and then get organized again before you can set off on your merry hike. All you need is a hydration pack (with the right sized water reservoir, depending on how much water you wish to carry, how long you’ll be out hiking and how much weight you can carry), a water reservoir topped up with clean, fresh drinking water, a water treatment system (if you don’t know whether you can trust the water) and a sip straw. Once the sip straw is firmly in place you can sip and hike, hike and sip without one activity getting in the way of the other.
What about the green trees? I can see loads of green trees in the back ground. Anyway Bozo can’t you read? I said it’s not THAT type of hiking water reservoir. It’s THIS type . . .
That’s better . . . It’s a good job somebody is awake around here!
